After actress Jake Gyllenhaal was seen with a scarf that looked almost exactly like Taylor Swift’s signature yellow cardigan on the streets of New York City, all eyes turned to music icon Dionne Warwick.
Even Warwick herself had a role in it, when she appeared at the SAG Awards in a yellow scarf that looked a lot like the “1989” singer’s — only it’s a Gap symbol instead of Swift’s heart emblazoned look.
As she got ready to leave the event, the 88-year-old singer even had an opinion for Gyllenhaal.
“I actually think it’s a lovely scarf,” she told ET’s Lauren Zima. “No disrespect to Taylor Swift, but I would prefer someone who wasn’t a Bratz doll, because I like the more feminine qualities.”

While these stars were enamored by Gyllenhaal’s look, Swift seemed to have no opinion about it. Instead, she liked how it looked on her gal pal.
“Thank you for the fabulous invite! Taylor Swift has taken me out for an afternoon to my favorite spot on Park Avenue. See you tonight!” Gyllenhaal told her when he posted a photo of the two on Instagram.
In the snap, both Gyllenhaal and Swift are smiley with one hand on each other’s arms, looking to the side to smile at the camera, right where you’d expect a good blouse to be tucked.
What do you think? Is Gyllenhaal’s scarf over-the-top or too subtle? Sound off below!
