Adele has revealed a new song called ‘To Be Loved’.
We’re going to get one million complaints, possibly more, because the song itself is so all over the place that it’s almost hard to tell where it is going.
After an instrumental introduction by strings, Adele delivers a series of overtly emotional verses, with a string section helping her top up the crescendo each time.
Despite being the new 21 single, it starts off with Adele singing in a slightly tentative voice before being weaved into some jaunty house beats.
She continues with those emotional growls and classical piano before changing gears to a sped-up remix of ‘Rolling in the Deep’.
Later, she addresses her critics and audience: “The bad person is never the one who’s right, I’ve become the bad person, you live and you learn, but I don’t give a shit ’cause every day I’ve got no reason to.”
The song sounds almost like more of an audition reel for us, and we love it.

Adele has been teasing the release of the new single for months now, sharing shots of herself in various green clothing at a pool party in Barbados and getting some slap-ups in restaurants.
She also posted this behind-the-scenes clip of her working on the new material, which will be her third album of the same name following 2011’s 21 and 2014’s 25.
